MH CHESTNUT SURPRIZE hails from the renowned Maple Hills breeding program in Novelty, Ohio. This exquisite mare has produced some of our top Hackney horse foals to date. She has been highly successful in her limited showing experience, and has been unmatched as a broodmare. Her additions to the Silverwood barn are listed below, and we look for her to continue producing some of the top Hackney foals in the nation.

SW POETRY IN MOTION - (Imp. Hallmandale Mr. Canada X MH Chestnut Surprize)

This exquisite filly is already showing the incredible genes of her parents. Her sire produced some of the winningest Hackney Horse harness horses in Canada. Her dam has already proven herself as a top show mount in limited outings. Already to her credit is the 2001 Charity Fair Res. Champion Hackney Horse mare title at the age of two. Her beauty and motion will be an asset the the Silverwood breeding shed in the years to come.

SW SHOW STOPPER - (Celtic Warrior X MH Chestnut Surprize)

This incredible colt has earned the honor of remaining a stallion and becoming one of the future breeding stallions of Silverwood Farm. He is tall, incredibly stretchy, and has more motion than we've seen out of any young Hackney yet. He is incredibly well tempered, and we will look to him to add motion and substance to his future Arabian mare crosses. Watch for his progeny coming soon!
