We've got a lot going on these days. Here's where you can see what we're doing and where we're going. We'll have new horses and owners posted, exciting news to share, and of course, up-to-date show results so you can see exactly how the SWTC horses stack up against the competition. We've only listed top two placings as we don't have room for them all, so know that even more is being accomplished in this small, established training barn. It's a fast paced ride so hold on tight! Congratulations to Taylor Hay on the purchase of her new horse, RA Triumph. This beautiful and talented gelding was once in the training barn several years ago, and we are excited to welcome him back. He's a full brother to two-time National Champion, Fire's Klassic, and we are thrilled at the opportunity to see this exciting team grow in the coming months. They will be competing in 2008 in PB Hunter Pleasure Walk/Trot, Hunter Equitation Walk/Trot, and Intro Level Dressage Walk/Trot. Go Tyler and Taylor!
CONGRATULATIONS! Congratulations to Kim and Doug Stone owner of Bedazzeld (by Razzle Dazzle Bay++/) the newly crowned 2007 Region 3 Champion PB Sport Horse In Hand Mare Open! Bedazzeld has been shown and trained by her owner since she was two, and is now continuing on her winning ways as a mature mare. Bedazzeld beat out over twenty other talented entries to claim her title, and proves that winning runs in the family. Razzle Dazzle Bay++/ himself is just back from another US Youth National Top Ten title in Second Level Dressage with Jennifer Halverson (ranked third) deftly maneuvering him through the test. Congratulations to all!! CONGRATULATIONS!
Congratulations to Jenni Haas on the birth of her beautiful PB Hackney Horse colt! This solid, strapping colt, pictured at 9 weeks, shows what excellent Hackney breeding can produce. By Celtic Warrior and out of a daughter of our very own Haven's Melody, we are excited to announce the birth of yet another rare Hackney Horse into California and look forward to seeing how he grows up. Proud papa sends his good wishes long distance to his new son! SHOW RESULTS 2007 YOUTH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS Way to go team Silverwood at Youth Nationals! Not only was Jenn named Top Ten on our very own Razzle Dazzle Bay++/, but the team went Reserve National Champions overall in the Judging and Hippology contests! Considering it was a tough show due to a Debbie's recent broken back and then a sudden death in Debbie's family, the team kept their spirits high and worked hard to do their best under tough circumstances. It proves that hard work and determination will always win out. Way to go, girls! 2007 REGION 1 CHAMPIONSHIPS It was a very difficult show this year. With a serious injury plaguing Debbie and rendering her unable to ride at all, the juniors of Silverwood stepped up to the plate and proved that good training and riding pays off! Taylor just missed going Top Five in a very tough Hunter Pleasure class ending up sixth overall and third on one judge's card, but there were still plenty of successes to be had. Congratulations!
